In May 2014 I have moved to University Hospital (UZ Gasthuisberg) of KU Leuven, the oldest University (founded in 1425) in Belgium for post-doc research. Currently I am working with Prof. Dr. Jeroen Raes, Lab for Molecular Bacteriology, affiliated with Rega Institute as well as Flemish Institute for Biotechnology (VIB). A new personal website will be available in the future.

Welcome!!!
In Oct 2010 I started to work in MPI Ploen as PhD student in the workgroup “Evolutionary Genomics”, leading by Prof. Dr John Baines.
My major research interest including microbiology/microbial ecology, and during my PhD I will explore those topics in the framework of “microbiota-host co-evolution”, using house mice as model organisms. In Mar 2014 I finished my PhD with “Summa cum laude” and stayed shortly afterwards, before I moved to my post-doc in Belgium. I am a self-trained Bioinformatician and Biostatistician, have a Master degree in Marine biodiversity and Conservation, and Bachelor in Biotechnology.
