Kiel University, Post-doc in the group of Eva Stukenbrock (Environmental Genomics)

2013 – 2017

Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research, Phd student co-supervised by Prof. Paul Schulze-Lefert and Dr. Stéphane Hacquard.

My Ph. D. work was on exploring the competitiveness of root-associated bacteria and its relevance for community establishment by using different experimental systems. 

2009 – 2011

Paul Sabatier University Toulouse, France, MSc in Microbiology. Co-supervised by Sylvie Tournier and Yannick Gachet. 

During my master internship, I studied the coordination between chromosome segregation and cytokinesis in the model micro-organism, Schizosaccharomyces pombe . 

2004 – 2007

Saad Dahleb University. Blida, Algeria, BSc in Microbiology

During a 6 months internship performed at the Institute Pasteur of Algeria, I worked on the epidemiology of Campylobacter jejuni.
