Research interests

Broadly, I am interested in fungal-plant interactions from an ecological and evolutionary perspective. Currently, I am at the Kiel lab of the Environmental Genomics Group led by Eva Stukenbrock, working on the molecular mechanisms that allow the fungal pathogen Zymoseptoria tritici to promote immune suppression during infection in wheat.
